Founded in 2005 by Binita Shah, the Indo Western Institute of Cultural Arts (IWICA) was established with a clear vision: to merge the best of Eastern and Western education under one roof, nurturing children to become truly global citizens. In 2008, Binita Shah embarked on a mission to ignite the flames of knowledge and creativity in young minds, leading to the creation of the IWICA Chess School—a program designed to cultivate strategic thinking, critical reasoning, and intellectual growth. Over the years, IWICA has evolved into a global learning network spanning Thailand, India, and Bangladesh, reaching over 40,000 students and inspiring them to unlock their full potential.
The journey of innovation continued with the introduction of RoboTech in 2012, which integrates robotics and technology into education. In 2017, MatheMagic was launched, turning mathematics into an engaging and enchanting experience for young learners. IWICA’s programs seamlessly blend creativity, technology, and education, creating a unique learning ecosystem that fosters curiosity and problem-solving skills.
IWICA’s founder, Binita Shah, has personally crafted a diverse suite of educational initiatives, including:
Through national and international schools, after-school programs, and specialized workshops, IWICA has touched thousands of lives, blending academic rigor with experiential learning. The institute and its founder are proudly affiliated with esteemed organizations such as the Thailand Chess Association, Bangladesh National Sports Council, All India Chess Federation, Indo-Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Indian Association of Thailand, among others.
Today, IWICA continues to provide quality education for the young minds of today and the leaders of tomorrow. The journey of learning, creativity, and innovation is ongoing, with each chapter adding new possibilities. At IWICA, education is not just a lesson—it’s a grand odyssey of discovery, a place where young learners explore, imagine, and thrive.
